4 AM departure time. 😴 This drive is supposed to take 4 hrs, but everything here takes a bit longer. Baguio is up in the mountains of Northern Luzon. It’s known as the City of Pines and the Summer Capital of the Philippines because of its cooler climate. Camp John Hay was a U.S. Army base that is located in Baguio until 1991. It has an elevation of over 5,000 feet above sea level.
